(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) As a result of a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigation into thefts from vehicles in Listowel, a 17 year old male has been arrested and is charged with two counts of being in possession of property obtained by crime, under $5,000. He will be attending youth court on December 11, 2013 in Listowel to answer to these charges.
After a request by police for victims of thefts from vehicles to come forward, thefts were able to be linked and stolen property was identified. Residents are urged to report all thefts to police, if crimes are not reported the police are unable to link and solve them.
