(KINCARDINE, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received 2 overnight theft from a vehicle reports on June 13, 2016.
Loose change, IPhone charging cord, vehicle ownership and a pair of binoculars were taken from a vehicle in the 1100 block of Queen Street in Kincardine
Vehicle documents were taken from a vehicle in the 200 block of Broadway Street in Kincardine
The South Bruce OPP recommends that vehicle owners/operators consider the Lock it or Lose it theft prevention tips to help protect their property:
Always roll up your vehicle’s windows, lock the door and pocket the key
If you have a garage, use it. Lock the door and the vehicle
Always park in a well-lit area
Never leave valuable objects in plain view.
Theft is a crime of opportunity that you can help control; Lock it or Lose it.
Suspicious vehicles and suspicious people should be reported to police as soon as possible so that an officer can investigate.
