Theft Of Utility Trailer

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday May 15, 2013, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a rural residence on Line 26 east of Hwy 23 where a utility trailer had just been stolen.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Wednesday May 15th an unknown person(s) entered onto the property and removed the trailer. The trailer is described as a 1979 Home-made utility trailer with an Ontario Licence plate of F55 98Y. The trailer is dark grey in colour with checkerboard sides and bed. Metal rings are located along the sides for tying down items during transport. At the time of the theft, an aluminum truck topper was tied to the bed of the trailer.
