Theft Of Trailer And Electrical Cable

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday July 25, 2012, Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a commercial property on Hwy.8, 3km west of Sebringville, where the owner reported the theft of a trailer with electrical cable.

Investigation revealed that a 2010 “Cana”, 6’ X 12’ galvanized steel trailer (landscaping type), with tandum axles, was removed from the company lot. The trailer has a VIN # 2CPUSC2B3AA015001 and had an Ontario licence plate J2550T attached to the back.

The trailer has a home made steel spool stand attached to the deck which held a large 946 metre spool of “Number 2 Teck Cable” (aluminium cable with a black outer coating used for underground electrical service).
