(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Friday July 13, 2012, the owners of a rural residence on Road 157 south of Palmerston contacted police to report a theft.
Perth County OPP officers attended and with the assistance of the owner determined that a large number of hand and power tools had been removed from a drive shed. Investigation revealed that the drive shed bay door had been left open from Tuesday July 10 until Friday July 13. Two Stihl chain saws, a number of Makita power tools, and a Snap On impact wrench was missing.
A small ATV had been observed in the area of the theft on a number of occasions. The small white and yellow ATV with two persons on it had been seen leaving the area driving east on Line 90 and north on Road 152. The passenger on the ATV had racing stripes on his helmet.
