(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Tuesday August 16, 2011 Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a livestock auction yard on Line 87 north of Listowel where a cattle trailer was reported stolen.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 6 p.m. on Monday August 15 and 6 a.m. Tuesday August 16, 2011, a cattle trailer was removed from the east side of the auction building. The trailer is described as a 16 foot, white in colour, aluminium, fifth wheel, double axle trailer. It has “Listowel Livestock Ltd†written in green letters on the sides. There is also an image of a cow on the side. The trailer is 8 years old and has Ontario licence plate P77551 attached to the back.
Anyone having information about this theft or the trailers whereabouts is requested to contact the Perth County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), and you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
