Barrie Police were contacted by a complainant who had reported his 250cc Honda motorcycle stolen from his back yard on May 12th.
The complainant advised he found his property being offered for sale on an internet site and made arrangements to meet the “sellers”.
On May 13th, the Barrie Police Street Crime Unit attended the meeting place and found the complainants stolen motorcycle in the possession of a 32 year old Barrie male.
He was arrested for possession of stolen property and transported to the Barrie Police Service and later released to a June Court date.
Witnesses to the theft are asked to call Sgt Gord Speers of the Barrie Street Crime or Crime Stoppers
