On Friday, October 5, 2012 at 1:30 p.m., three young people were in the LCBO store on Wyndham Street North, Guelph when they suddenly ran from the store with a 40 oz. bottle of
alcohol. Police were called, and the youths were followed by mall security who alerted police to their whereabouts. Officers arrived and arrested two of the youths.
A 16-year-old Guelph female was charged with Theft Under $5000 and two counts of Breach YCJA Probation. She was held for a Bail Hearing.
A 17-year-old Guelph male was charged with Theft Under $5000 and will appear in court in October.
The third youth remains outstanding and investigation is ongoing.
