Theft in Chatham

The Chatham-Kent police are asking for the public’s assistance regarding a theft complaint.

Sometime late Thursday night or early Friday morning, unknown suspect(s) smashed a window of vehicle parked on Crystal Drive. The suspect(s) stole the victim’s purse containing cash and several pieces of identification.

Anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in this area is urged to contact Constable Neal Iles at 519-436-6600 extension #86590. Anonymous callers may call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) and may be eligible for a cash reward.
