The London Police Service is encouraging everyone to remove all items of any potential value from your vehicles. Any items that are left within a vehicle should be left out of sight.
Between June 1-20, 2014 there was one reported theft from vehicle in the area roughly bounded by Sarnia Rd. to Blackacres Blvd. and Coronation Dr. to Wychwood Park. Between June 30 to July 29, 2014 there were 19 reported thefts from vehicles in the same area. The offences are occurring between midnight and 6:00 a.m., every day of the week, but elevated on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday mornings.
The type of occurrences range from theft of coins from unlocked vehicles to vehicle windows being smashed to take valuables (golf clubs, GPS systems, etc.) left in the vehicle overnight.
