Theft From Vehicles

(HURON EAST, ON) On October 19, 2011 Huron County OPP officers responded to three calls of theft from vehicles. In all three incidents a window had been broken and items stolen from inside the vehicle.

On Flora Street in Brussels a purse containing a wallet and personal items including $90 cash was stolen.

On Elizabeth Street in Brussels a portable DVD player was stolen.

On Turnberry Street in Brussels a GPS was stolen.
Huron County OPP is reminding vehicle owners to lock their vehicles at all times and keep all valuables out of sight and removed from the vehicle. The OPP will be conducting extra patrols in all areas in an attempt to locate and charge the culprits.
