With the assistance of a South Simcoe Police court officer, Barrie Police arrested a 35 year old male who was observed breaking into vehicles on Bayfield Street Monday afternoon. The suspect had been held until by witnesses and the court officer until police arrived. The suspect was also found to be currently on probation and was in breach of several conditions. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.
