Theft From Unlocked Garage

(ST.MARYS, ON) On Thursday January 13, 2011, an Elgin Street East resident reported the theft from an unlocked garage.

Police investigation indicated that the theft occurred sometime between 9 p.m. on Tuesday January 11th, and 4 a.m. on Wednesday January 12th, 2011. An unknown suspect walked up the driveway, past the residence to a two car unattached garage. Entry to the garage was gained by means of the unlocked man-door.

The following items were removed from the garage;

o Black and Decker 3/8” cordless drill (orange colour), with 2 batteries and a charger.
o Craftsman 3/8” cordless drill (black colour) in a grey plastic case.
o Craftsman Johnson Bar (chrome colour) in a grey plastic case.
o A snow machine helmet (red in colour) with a visor defroster and a sun shield.
o Black leather snow machine gloves.
o A 40oz bottle of Bacardi white rum.

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have observed a person carrying the above items during the night in question, or who has information about this theft to contact them at 1-800-310-1122.
