(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday April 04, 2012, Perth County OPP officers were called to a theft from a multi-unit storage building on West Street in Mitchell.
The owner of a storage unit arrived to find the door to his unit half open, and numerous items missing from inside.
It was determined that sometime between Monday April 2nd and the early hours of Wednesday April 4th 2012, unknown persons cut the lock to the unit and made off with a black Articat 700 ATV 4 wheeler (VIN# 4UF09ATV79T207606), with an Ontario licence plate of 76TD5. The ATV was pushed out of the unit and loaded on a trailer or truck which had been driven in front of the building. A number of miscellaneous DeWalt and Mastercraft power tools were also taken.
The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone with information about these storage unit break-in’s and thefts, or who knows the whereabouts of the property, to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
