Theft From Downtown Store – Denise Caskanette Arrested

On Tuesday November 27, 2012 at 7:43 p.m., a female entered a store on MacDonnell Street Guelph and began looking at several pairs of boots. The female selected a pair and left the store without paying for them. Police were called, and the female was arrested a short time later on Wyndham Street, North Guelph. A search incident to arrest revealed that she was in possession of a small quantity of Marihuana, and she was charged accordingly.

The boots were valued at $30.00 and were returned to the store.

Denise CASKANETTE 41 years of Guelph was charged with Theft Under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property Under $5000.00, two counts of Breach Recognizance, Breach Probation and Possession of a Controlled Substance. She was held for a Bail Hearing.
