(ST.MARYS, ON) On Tuesday December 06, 2011 Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to an address on Church St. North in St.Marys where the owner reported a theft from a van parked on the driveway.
Investigation revealed that the complainant had parked the work van on his driveway for the night. Upon checking the vehicle shortly before 8 a.m. on Tuesday morning, it was discovered that the passenger side window had been smashed and entry had been gained to the vehicle. No tools or equipment were removed but the complainant’s wallet was missing. The black leather wallet contained personal identification, credit cards and a small amount of cash. It appeared that the culprit may have exited a vehicle on Church St. N. and crossed a neighbouring yard to gain access to the work van.
