THEFT CHARGES LAID AT SINGLE VEHICLE CRASH

(KINCARDINE TWP, ON) – On October 4, 2014 at 9:13 pm, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a single vehicle crash along Concession 11 in Kincardine Township. Officers attended with Municipality of Kincardine Fire Department and Bruce County EMS to find a Red Ford Econoline van had left the roadway and rolled over before coming to rest in the ditch. Officers discovered that the van had been reported stolen. An 18 year old man from the Municipality of Kincardine was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000, possession of stolen property, careless driving and class G1 driver – no accompanying driver. He is scheduled to appear in court on November 3, 2014 to answer to the charges.
