Theft At Construction Site

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) On Wednesday morning October 05, 2011 Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a theft at a construction site at the Mitchell Dollar Haven Store on Ontario Rd. in Mitchell.

Investigation revealed that sometime between 4:30 p.m. Tuesday October 04, and 6 a.m. Wednesday October 05, 2011 entry was gained to the site from the back of the building which faces Quebec St. Once inside the boarded up construction site the culprit removed two power tools, a BOSC Chipping gun and a cordless Sawsall. The culprit most likely left the site by the “man door” located in the 8 foot high plywood wall on the front of the building facing Ontario Rd.

The Perth County OPP is requesting anyone who may have seen some suspicious activity at this site or who has information about this theft, to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
