Theft

Barrie Police Officer attended a business on Bayfield St in regards to a shoplifter. The officers arrived on scene and were advised by store security that she fled the store with a table and was last seen running across the highway. Officers searched the area and located the 40 yr old Toronto woman near Rose St. The female was placed under arrest for the theft and possession of stolen property. She was on current charges and transported to the station . It was also determined that the female also stole a vacuum cleaner. The female was held for a bail hearing.
