Temple Ransacked In Huron Park

(SOUTH HURON, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members are currently investigating a break, enter and theft that took place at a place of worship and attached residence in Huron Park.

Yesterday afternoon Huron OPP members attended to a temple/residence located on Huron Park Road after receiving information the temple had been broken into and ransacked by thieves.

Sometime between October 18, 2018 and 10:00 a.m. on October 24, 2018 unknown suspects entered into the building through a rear patio door. Once inside the building the thieves ransacked the premise searching for valuables.

Some of the stolen items included:

Apple 5S cell phone

A silver and gold Buddha pendant

IBM laptop

A stereo receiver

A brand new Shark brand vacuum cleaner

$1,000 in US currency

$3,600 in CAD currency

$4,000 in Thai Baht
