Incident: On Friday, June 3, 2016 at approximately 4:20 p.m. a 16 year-old woman was walking along Market Street South when she was approached by a man that was unknown to her. The man attempted to have conversation with the woman, which was not reciprocated. The man continued his advances and touched the woman in an inappropriate manner. The woman was able to get away from the man and contacted Community Patrol Officers who investigated. The woman provided a detailed description and officers were able to locate the man a short distance away. As a result, a 25 year-old Brantford man was arrested and charged with Criminal Harassment and Sexual Assault. He was held for a bail hearing.
