Taxes Expected To Double In Next Few Years – Town Staff To Google Own Job Descriptions

At the last council meeting it was disclosed again that town staff don’t have job descriptions. Now town staff have to come up with their own job descriptions because our new CAO “Captain Crayon” can’t be bothered or lacks the ability. It could be that all his time will be allocated to the Mega-Million Election Year Giveaway, which according to Captain Crayon no town staffer will see a decrease in compensation.

The only way to fund these bonuses and raises is to increase taxes. They can’t decrease service anymore. They already close the pool on summer weekends, refuse to put any money away in infrastructure reserves, depend on fundraisers for fire suppression systems, refuse to clear all sidewalks in Community Safety Zones, refuse to pick up roadkill, refuse to clear both pedestrian paths on Hanna Bridge in the winter, block off the Community Trail in the winter, refuse to clear the sidewalks around the library and other Public buildings, etc.

Despite there being no money to maintain our infrastructure, council rubber stamped the Mega-Million Election Year Giveaway at the last meeting. North Huron continues to rot while town staff latch on even tighter to the taxpayer teat to suck every last cent out of the sheeple that sit at home allowing this to happen, wallowing in their own apathy.
