Suspicious Person Call Helps Police Nab Theives

(WALKERTON, ON) On July 1, 2013 at 3:22 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of suspicious males on West River Road in Walkerton. The males were trying to open car doors as they walked along. Officers arrived and intercepted the males along Ellen Avenue and found they were carrying stolen property. An 18 year old male, a 17 year old male and a 15 year old male have each been charged with Possession of stolen property. The accused can’t be identified under provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The South Bruce OPP has seized a quantity of stolen property from the males.
