On Friday September 14th, 2012, at 3:11 a.m., the Guelph Police Service and Guelph Fire Department responded to a fire in the detached garage in the backyard of a residence on Paisley Street Guelph. The Guelph Fire Department extinguished the blaze before it spread to any nearby residences and there were no injuries. The Guelph Police Service is currently treating the incident as suspicious and there is an ongoing investigation.
