(TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) – On Tuesday January 16, 2018 at approximately 7:00 a.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a vehicle collision on Sideroad 19, Fergus. Initial reports indicated that a vehicle had damaged a hydro pole.
Traffic was slightly delayed as a result of the collision.
Upon investigation, 67-year-old Donald Frederick WILLARD of Fergus was charged with Driving while Suspended contrary to the Highway Traffic Act and Driving without Insurance contrary to the Compulsory Automobile Insurance Act. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on March 7, 2018. His vehicle was seized for seven days as per statute.
