Location: Colborne Street at Clarence Street
Incident: On Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at approximately 3:30 a.m., while on routine patrol, a Community Patrol Officer observed a Pontiac Grand Am driving along Colborne Street at Clarence Street. Through investigation, it was learned that this vehicle was reported stolen to the Toronto Police Service. The vehicle was followed to an address on Grey Street where the occupants exited and were subsequently arrested. As a result, a 29 year-old Norfolk man was charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Break-In Tools, and Possession of a Controlled Substance under the Criminal code, and Driving while Under Suspension x’s 3 under the Highway Traffic Act. Also, a 21 year-old Brantford woman was charged with Possession of Stolen Property, Possession of Break-In Tools, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. They both were held for a bail hearing.
