Suspended Driver Caught On Hwy 6

(SOUTH BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On November 8, 2015 at approximately 11:54 a.m., a Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Officer conducted a traffic stop on 6 Highway, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.

The officer observed a black 2001 Pontiac driving southbound, with a driver known to be suspended from driving. The suspension was confirmed through the Ministry of Transportation.

A 41-year-old male driver from South Bruce Peninsula, was subsequently charged with driving while suspended under the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, section 53 (1). He is scheduled to appear before the Owen Sound Court of Justice on December 14, 2015 to answer to the charge.
