On Monday August 29th, 2016 at approximately 10:30am a lone male suspect entered the CIBC branch located at 6931 Derry Rd in the Town of Milton and demanded money.
The suspect gestured as if he was concealing a weapon and was in the bank for a short time. The suspect fled on foot in a southerly direction with an undisclosed amount of money. There were a number of customers and employees inside the bank at the time of the incident, no one was harmed.
The suspect is described as: male, white, mid 20’s, 6’-6’2’’, medium build – 180-200lbs. He was wearing a black hooded sweater, black pants, dark running shoes, black and white gardening gloves. The suspect concealed the majority of his face with clothing.
This incident is being investigated by the One District Milton Criminal Investigations Bureau.
