Suspect Sought After Shots Fired At Residence

Investigators with the York Regional Police #1 District Criminal Investigations Bureau are seeking information to identify a suspect involved after shots were fired at a front door area of a residence in the Town of Aurora.

On Friday, November 18, 2016, at approximately 1:45 a.m., police were called to Halldorson Avenue for the sound of gunshots. When officers arrived they checked the area where the gunshots were believed to have been heard. Officers then located a residence where bullets had gone through the window area near the front door. The occupants of the home were not injured. A male was seen running from the area towards a vehicle.

Male

5’7” to 5’10”

Dark- coloured clothing

Vehicle:

Dark-coloured mini-van

Investigators are asking any witnesses who may have been in the area at the time of the incident that have not yet spoken to police, or anyone with information, to come forward.
