Suspect Sought for Macing Another Bus Passenger
(Ottawa) — The Central District Investigations are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a man who maced another passenger on OC Transpo bus (#96) after a verbal altercation.
The incident occurred today at 12:39 p.m., on Slater Street near the intersection of Bank Street.
The alleged suspect sprayed the victim in the face; he then fled the bus accompanied with a woman. During this incident, other uninvolved passengers were also affected by the spray. Victims were treated on scene, but none were transported to hospital.
Police are looking for witnesses that may have observed the incident or anyone that has information relating to the suspect or the woman.
Suspect:
* White man
* Dirty blond/brown hair
* Around 22 years-of-age
* 5’4 (163 cm)
