(Goderich, ON) On July 17, 2010 the Kinsmen Summerfest beer tent was set up for the evening in Goderich. Shortly after the tent closed for the night, between 1:50 am and 2:10 am on July 18th, Huron OPP officers were dispatched to several reports of fighting outside the event area.
One significant disturbance occurred at the intersection of South Street and Elgin Ave, in the area of the Giant Tiger store. Several people were assaulted including one victim who required surgery.
