STUFF AN AMBULANCE, CRUISER, FIRE TRUCK – FOOD DRIVE

On December 8, 2012 members of the Guelph Fire Department, Guelph-Wellington Emergency Medical Services and Guelph Police Service joined forces to collect food and cash donations for the Guelph Food Bank at the Paisley Road Zehrs store.
The community support was overwhelming! We collected 4,261 lbs. of food donations and over $3,000 in cash donations which has an equivalent of 4,581 lbs., for a grand total of 8,842 lbs.

On behalf of our three local emergency services, we would like to thank the public for their generous support and again demonstrating that we live in a caring community. Special thanks to the volunteers from the Food Bank and the staff at Zehrs for making this event possible.

Please continue to support our local food banks.
