(WALKERTON, ON) – The South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Auxiliary Unit is collecting donations for the Walkerton Food Bank on Saturday November 23, 2013 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Auxiliary officers will be accepting non-perishable food items or cash donations for the food bank in the parking lots of the Foodland and Valumart stores.
The need for food bank assistance increases as the holiday season approaches, so take a moment and help us stuff a cruiser. It’ll make you feel good and rest assured all donations will be appreciated and put to good use.
The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, you can call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or send a web-tip to crimestop-gb.org, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2,000.
