On Monday July 18, 2016 at approximately 2:15 am, two students were walking along Albert St. in Waterloo, when they were approached by an unknown suspect. The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, thin build, 5’8”, wearing a light blue zip up hoodie and dark jeans. The suspect pointed a black hand gun at the victims and told them to give him all they had. The suspect then fled on foot and is still at large. Police are asking the public to contact the Waterloo Regional Police Service if they have any information regarding the incident, or to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
