(GODERICH, ON) On Wednesday August 15, 2012, shortly after 10:15 p.m., Huron County OPP officers were called to a suspicious fire at an unoccupied home under construction in Goderich.
The Goderich fire department responded to the fire at 122 West Street and immediately contacted police when they deemed the fire to be suspicious in nature. The fire was extinguished prior to spreading throughout the home thereby avoiding major structural damage.
Police are continuing to investigate this fire, and are looking for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious near the construction site on West Street before the fire was reported.
