(SOUTH BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – In light of some recent complaints about drivers not stopping for a school bus, the South Bruce OPP want to send a message to all motorists. When a school bus is stopped, with the red lights flashing and stop arm extended, this is a signal that students will be getting on or off the bus and drivers must stop. Drivers that fail to stop may be a subject to a fine of $490 and 6 demerit points. More importantly, drivers that fail to stop could be endangering the life of a child.
