Stolen Vehicles Recovered Near Sebringville

(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Tuesday afternoon January 03, 2012 Perth County OPP officers were notified by a railway worker that two damaged vehicles could be seen stuck in a field near the railway track south of Sebringville.

Officers attended the above location between Perth Road 130 and Road 134 where they located a damaged orange coloured Polaris 500 ATV and a grey 2010 Ford F150 pickup truck submerged in mud. Both vehicles were removed from the property with the assistance of the landowner.

The pickup truck was found to have been stolen from the driveway of a rural residence on Wellington County Road 10 sometime between December 27 and 28th. At the time, the vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys in the ignition.

The recovered Polaris Scrambler 500 ATV had been reported stolen from an open barn on the 11th Line of East Zorra-Tavistock between January 01 and January 03, 2012. The owner of the ATV had also left the keys in the ignition.
