Stolen Vehicle Used In Break In Recovered

(TOWNSHIP OF GEORGIAN BLUFFS, ON) – On Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at approximately 5:08 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a white pick-up truck abandoned behind a business on Grey Rd. 18, in Springmount, in the Township of Georgian Bluffs.

The vehicle, a white 2004 Chevrolet Silverado pick-up truck, had been reported stolen by Owen Sound Police Service. OPP believe the recovered vehicle was involved in the break-in at the Pharmasave on Grey Rd. 17B in the Township of Georgian Bluffs earlier Wednesday morning.

The vehicle was taken to the Mount Forest OPP Forensic Identification Services Unit for expert examination.
