(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Sunday October 23, 2011 shortly after 10 p.m. a Perth County OPP officer observed a suspected stolen pickup truck on Main Street East in Listowel. The officer attempted to initiate a traffic stop but the truck sped away. The officer did not pursue the truck out of concern for public safety. The pickup truck was last seen traveling east bound on Perth Line 86.
It was later confirmed that the pickup truck had been stolen in the early morning hours on 23 October 2011 from a farm residence on Browntown Road, Morris Turnberry Twp. in Huron County. The keys for the truck had been taken from inside a shed adjacent to where the truck was parked. The truck, a silver 2004 FORD extended cab pickup truck has Ontario licence plates 6464YS. The truck has not been located and is still outstanding.
