Stolen Vehicle Recovered – NAHDEE, JACOBS & HENRY Arrested

(CHIPPEWAS OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – On July 21, 2019, at approximately 3:30 p.m., members of the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Oneida Nation Police Department and Munsee Delaware Police Service were conducting a stolen motor vehicle investigation at a residence on Chippewa Road, on the Chippewas of the Thames First Nation territory.

Upon arrival, the officers located three individuals within the vicinity of the stolen motor vehicle. A search of the motor vehicle revealed a replica handgun.

As a result of the police investigation the following three individuals have been arrested and charged pursuant to the Criminal Code of Canada (CC).

Kyle NAHDEE, 35-year-old of Walpole Island First Nation, Ontario has been charged with;

Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon

Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order

Possession of break in instruments

Possession of an identity document

Possession of property obtained by crime, over $5000

Possession of property obtained by crime, under $5000 – three counts

Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

Possession of a schedule I substance – Methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and with,

Possession of a schedule I substance – other drugs, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Perry JACOBS, 20-year-old of Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Ontario has been charged with;

Fail to comply with probation order

Fail to comply with recognizance

Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon

Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order

Possession of break in instruments

Possession of an identity document

Possession of property obtained by crime, over $5000

Possession of property obtained by crime, under $5000 – three counts

Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

Possession of a schedule I substance – Methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and with,

Possession of a schedule I substance – other drugs, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

Allana HENRY, 24-year-old of Walpole Island First Nation, Ontario has been charged with;

Occupant of motor vehicle knowing there was prohibited or restricted weapon

Possession of break in instruments

Possession of an identity document

Possession of property obtained by crime, over $5000

Possession of property obtained by crime, under $5000 – three counts

Transport firearm, weapon, prohibited device or ammunition in a careless manner

Possession of a schedule I substance – Methamphetamine, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act; and with,

Possession of a schedule I substance – other drugs, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act

The accused were held in custody pending a bail hearing.
