Stolen Vehicle Recoverd – Two Arrested

Barrie Police were on general patrol when they observed a vehicle driving at a high rate of speed.

The Officer conducted a check of the vehicle and found it had been stolen from Collingwood.

The vehicle was stopped and two Barrie females were taken into custody for possession of stolen property.

Further investigation revealed the driver was wanted in Collingwood for theft of this vehicle, a second theft of a vehicle and failing to comply with her recognizance.

The driver was charged with the above offences and released to a Collingwood Court.

The second female was released unconditionally.

The owner was notified his vehicle had been recovered.
