Stolen Vehicle From South Huron Found On Fire

(MITCHELL, ON) – On September 9, 2019, at approximately 12:00 a.m., members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), West Perth detachment and West Perth Fire Department responded to the report of a vehicle on fire south of Mitchell on Road 160 near Line 26.

Police responded quickly and a minivan was located fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle fire was extinguished quickly and no one was found in or near the vehicle.

The vehicle was later determined to have been stolen from a residence in South Huron.

Perth County OPP continue to investigate the incident and ask anyone that may have information contact police at 1-800-310-1122.
