On Thursday June 9, 2016 a car dealership located at 347 Wharncliffe Road South had a white Mazda SUV stolen from their sales lot. The business owner advised the London Police Service that the vehicle was taken sometime overnight.
At 4:55 p.m., London Police Officers responded to a report of a white SUV partially submerged in the Thames river adjacent to 45 Pond Mills Road. The vehicle was unoccupied upon Police arrival, and it was subsequently recovered as the same stolen vehicle taken earlier this morning.
The London Police Service Auto/Arson Unit is currently investigating this incident.
