On 18 September 2017 shortly after 8:00pm Owen Sound Police Service along with Owen Sound Fire were alerted to a vehicle fire on 28 th Avenue East. The vehicle, a brown 2007 Pontiac Montana van was completely destroyed by the fire. Police contacted the vehicles owner who was unaware the vehicle had been stolen.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the person(s) responsible. Anyone one who may have seen the van in the north end of 28 th Avenue East and or persons in that area shortly before 8:00pm are asked to contact Constable Edmiston at 519-376- 1234 ext 507 or call
