(MUNICIPALITY OF CHATSWORTH, ON) – On Sunday, July 5, 2015, at approximately 10:14 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an abandoned vehicle in a creek at the bottom of a hill at the Rotary Park located on Main Street West, Markdale, in the Municipality of Grey Highlands. The vehicle was extensively damaged.
Investigation revealed that the abandoned vehicle had been reported stolen on Friday, July 3rd from Thom Drive in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. The same vehicle was also involved in gas drive-off theft from the Esso station in Chatsworth on Saturday, July 4th.

On Friday, July 3, 2015 at approximately 2:47 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated a stolen vehicle report.
The vehicle, a grey 1998 Jeep Cherokee, VIN # 1J4GZ78S1WC300778, with Ontario licence plates BMXK 127, was parked on Thom Drive in the Township of Georgian Bluffs. It was taken some time after midnight on July 2nd. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys inside.
