(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Friday April 05, 2013, at 2 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to a rural residence on Line 29 west of Tavistock where the owner discovered a 2003 GMC 4X4 stolen from his driveway.
The theft occurred sometime between 10:30 p.m. on Thursday April 04, and 2 a.m. on Friday April 05, 2013. Oxford and Perth County OPP officers patrolled the geographic location around the victim’s residence and broadcasts were made to surrounding police agencies.
On Friday April 05, 2013 at 8:30 a.m. the pickup truck was observed parked on Road 106 between Hwy 7/8 and Line 37 (north east of Shakespeare). The truck had been abandoned and set on fire.
