(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH SOUTH, ON) On Wednesday February 02, 2011, Perth County OPP officers were advised of a pickup truck theft from a rural residence located north of Avonton.
Investigation revealed that the theft occurred sometime between 9 p.m. Tuesday February 01, 2011 and 5 a.m. Wednesday February 02, 2011. Someone walked onto the rural property along Perth Road 130 between Line 26 and Line 29 and entered the unlocked pickup truck which was parked in front of the farm shop approximately 150 metres from the road. The truck was started without the keys and was driven away on Perth Road 130.
The truck is described as a black 1997 GMC Sierra 4×4 extended cab pickup truck. The truck has the following Ontario licence plates attached, 6361FB.
The truck has a red rectangular diesel fuel tank in the box of the pickup truck with coloured fuel.
