Stolen Pickup Truck Evading Police Crashes Into Farm Equipment – Tiffany JOHNSON Arrested

(CHESLEY, ON) – On March 29, 2018 at 2:32 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received information regarding a stolen Beige pick-up truck in the area of Schmidt Lake Road in Greenock Township. Officers located a Beige pick-up truck on Schmidt Lake Road and signalled the driver to stop using the police cruiser emergency lighting. The vehicle accelerated and continued along Schmidt Lake Road at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle came to a stop in a parking lot when the driver collided with a piece of parked farm equipment along 2nd Street southwest in Chesley. The driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Twenty-seven-year old Tiffany JOHNSON was arrested without incident. She was charged with possession of stolen property, flight from police, dangerous driving and drive while under suspension. She is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton on April 18, 2018 to answer to the charges.
