Stolen Pickup Recovered – TINNING & PETERS Charged

(WEST PERTH, ON) – On January 11, 2019 at 5:30 a.m., a citizen called Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Perth County Detachment to report a motor vehicle in the ditch in the Municipality of West Perth.

OPP officers responded and located a pickup that was reported stolen from the Municipality of Huron East. A male and a female were arrested at the scene.

Shawn TINNING, 33-years-old, of the City of Stratford was charged with;

Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Possessing Counterfeit Money

Unauthorized Possession of Weapon

2 counts of Fail to Comply with Probation Order

Shalene PETERS, 31-years-old, of the Municipality of North Middlesex was charged with;

Possession Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

Possessing Counterfeit Money

Both are scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Stratford on February 11, 2019 to answer the charges.
