(TOWNSHIP OF PERTH EAST, ON) On Saturday February 04, 2012 at 3 a.m. Perth County OPP officers were dispatched to the Shakespeare Pond (North of Shakespeare), where a partially submerged mini van was on fire in the pond.
The Township of Perth East Fire Department (Shakespeare Station) attended the scene and extinguished the fire and ensured that no one was in the vehicle. Investigation indicated that the van had been stolen from a Kitchener address sometime in the early hours of February 04.
